Notice is hereby given to announce the proposed change of ownership of the Alden Court Nursing Care & Rehabilitation Center, also known as Alden Court, which is located at 389 Alden Road, Fairhaven, Massachusetts 02719. Subject to regulatory approval, Southcoast Long-Term Care Services, Inc., an affiliate of Southcoast Health located at 101 Page Street, New Bedford, Massachusetts, 02740 proposes to acquire ownership of Alden Court from the current owner, Gordon Operating Company, LLC, located at 389 Alden Road, Fairhaven, Massachusetts 02719. 
 

Alden Court is a 142-bed skilled nursing and rehabilitation facility licensed by the Department of Public Health. Following the change of ownership, the proposed new owner and licensee, Southcoast Long-Term Care Services, Inc., will continue to operate Alden Court at the same location of 389 Alden Road, Fairhaven, Massachusetts 02719. The change of ownership will not result in any change to the bed capacity or the services of the facility. 

A public hearing may be requested upon petition by any group of ten adults. Such petition shall include the name, address and signature of each adult and designate one member as the representative of the group. Written comments concerning the applicant’s ability to provide quality long-term care services and petitions for a public hearing may be addressed to the offices of the Department of Public Health, Division of Health Care Facility Licensure and Certification. A request for hearing may be made for a period of 14 days following November 27, 2023, the date of publication in the newspaper.
